Our neighbors had a fire last night and it was warm enough that the kids played and we sat around and talked. It was lovely. I have always loved to watch fire but this one was especially fun with the special copper pipe and garden hose that they put in to make green and purple flames.
Photography: Taking pictures at night is difficult because it's hard to gauge what effect you are going for. I tried about 5 different settings to get it just right.
